I had the pleasure of dining at Alxama in Quarteira when on a
recent family trip to Portugal. The restaurant I believe is fairly new and was
recommended by a friend so for our last meal in Portugal we headed to Alxama.
The weather was still amazing in the evening so we
dined outside. The service was fantastic, and all of the waiters and waitresses
were extremely friendly. The food was of great quality and this goes for the
sides too. They do a local bread as a starter which the waiter had recommended
and this went down a treat.
On to the meat and oh how succulent the meat was! The meat was served on skewers that hung in the middle of the table which was different from the norm.
Alxama was one of the highlights of my trip. Deffo a thumbs up from me !
