Yardbird Southern Table & Bar - Miami

Since I have been back in London, I have legitimately NOT stopped thinking about Yardbird Southern Table & Bar. This was by far one of my favourite South Beach foodie experiences and the pictures simply do not do it justice.

The menu is great, the portions are big, I had read up on Yardbird Southern Table & Bar prior to my trip to South Beach so I had already decided on the Chicken & Waffles.

Let me just say this, the Fried Chicken here is like NO other. It tastes, looks and smells so good that it made the people sitting next to us order a side of Fried Chicken after completing their main meals! Please be aware and as you can see, the portion size is big and more suitable to share between two.

 

This place has a really cool, young and trendy vibe, it is also a popular choice amongst the South Beach natives and tourists so I would recommend booking in advance.

                   

 

Before I bid you farewell for now, please let me talk to you about THE BEST DESSERT I HAVE EVER TRIED IN MY LIFE - The Deep Fried Oreo!!! Please do not be naive enough to imagine serving up an Oreo which has been chucked in a pan of oil. The Yardbird Southern Table & Bar Deep Fried Oreo is coated in a pancake like batter before being topped with a Rice Krispie like topping - PERFECT. To finish it off, they serve it with Oreo Ice Cream!! Pictures below admittedly not the best as I could not wait to tuck in!!
