With so many deals out there for Gilgamesh its kind of impossible not to dine there every week! I visited yesterday evening and the service was great as always.
On this occasion I used the groupon deal which entitled me to 3 courses plus a champagne cocktail for about £25 - bargain! I started with Crispy Squid, for mains I went for Beef Bulgogi and for dessert I tried the Burnt Milk Panna Cotta.
The squid was great, I also ordered Duck Spring Rolls to assist my preferred 'startersy bits' way of life/dining. The beef was nice, tad stringy, it also kind of weirded me out that they served it with mash as well as steamed rice. Although I did not finish the dessert, it was a pleasant, I do however feel that the set menu is let down by the dessert at Gilgamesh. Last year they had a '50% off set menu' promotion. They would change the set menu monthly and you could also book this with Gilgamesh directly - bring that deal back Gilga!
